James Clay “Jim” Gossett was born and raised in Henderson, Texas. He graduated from Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While in undergrad at Lyon, Jim was a four year letterman on the baseball team, led his team in batting average and RBI as a sophomore, and was an all-conference selection his senior year. He also made the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll all four years. He then studied law at the University of Arkansas- Little Rock where he was an associate editor of the UALR Law Review.
Jim joined the Monsour Law Firm in 2018 after having spent nearly two years at a law firm in Tyler, Texas. Since joining the firm as an associate, Jim’s focus has been car wreck cases, 18-wheeler wrecks, and railroad crossing cases.
An avid sports fan, Jim spends his spare time playing golf as well as watching his favorite sports teams the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.
